Summer 2020

Safety Protocols

An Update for Our Guests

After a long and difficult spring, we’re all in need of a vacation. We are receiving updates daily from State officials and are monitoring closely for an approved opening day, hopefully very soon.

As all of us have become more and more aware of potential risks to our health, safety, and comfort, The Beachcomber Owners and Management Team, in consult with experts, have spent the past weeks preparing our resort for restful summer getaways — with precautions in place to keep you and your family safe.

How We’re Preparing

for a Safe 2020 Shore Season

Monitoring All Updates

We’re following all guidelines from the CDC, local regulations, and new information as it becomes available. We are adapting to the situation day-to-day to ensure our guests and staff remain as safe as possible while at the resort. Our staff will be trained on hand-washing, hygiene and sanitation practices, and social distancing. We will also be monitoring staff temperatures before the start of their shift each day, and they will be required to wear masks and gloves.

For indoor areas, we will have a plexiglass separation in place at the front desk and guests will be encouraged to follow guidelines and wear masks while in indoor areas.

On-Site Cooking Options

If eating out isn’t an option, or takeout lines are too long, all units are equipped with kitchenettes. Guests are also welcome to use our outdoor barbecue, as well. Our shared eating area will be sanitized throughout the day and between every use.

Room Safety and Sanitation

We have introduced industry-leading sanitation practices, with the highest-grade cleaning solutions available to prioritize your health and safety. All housekeeping staff are required to wear gloves and masks. Additionally, staff members will not be permitted to enter units while they are occupied.

Outdoor Sanitation Procedures

Our outdoor lounge area is arranged for social distancing and is being monitored by a staff member at all times. Chairs and all other surfaces are sanitized and cleaned thoroughly between uses. There will be signs and friendly reminders on display to maintain six foot distance from staff and fellow guests.
