2014-Timing/Scoring: LIN-MARK Sports of Mantua NJ Will Time the 2014 Turkey Trot utilizing the B-TAG from ChronoTrack Timing, the world’s most advanced timing system with the disposable chip. All participants will receive their assigned B-Tag affixed to the back of their race number where it will remain for the entire event.

Friends and relatives of the entrants will be able to sign for race tracking of their athletes thru Chronotrack Live during race week.

Results will be text to all runners who supply a mobile phone number and laptops will be provided at race site for runners to look up their results within minutes after finishing.

Results will be posted to the Lin-Mark website on an ongoing basis all morning long.

Sound Advice Lounge featuring live-streaming football!
Sound Advice returns with the popular Sound Advice Lounge, allowing visitors to enjoy the weekend football games on large-screen televisions. Saturday College and Sunday NFL games!
Kid’s Games, Crafts and Activities!
Bring the kids with you to participate in the fall- and seafood-themed crafts and activities including face painting, rock climbing, crafts, games and more. Also included in the list of activities are pumpkin painting, carnival games, and much more.
Shucking Showdown & Chowder Championship
Local restaurants will compete on both days of the festival. The return of the popular Clam Shucking Contest is scheduled for Saturday at 3:30 p.m., and local “shuckers” will race to the finish in a shucking showdown against 2013 Champion Warren Wade. On Sunday afternoon, the public is invited to judge local restaurants’ entries in the popular Chowder Championship Contest. Participants can purchase a ticket to enter a blind taste-testing and vote for their favorite. The entry with the most votes will be declared the 2014 Chowder Champion. The 2013 winner, the the Sea Grill, will return to defend its title.

The best seafood from the area’s finest restaurants including Jonathan’s Harbor, Sylvester’s Seafood, The Golden Inn, Marabella’s Family Restaurant and more!
Beer and wine truck ran by the Avalon Chamber of Commerce including Sam Adams Octoberfest, Hacker-Pschorr Craft Beer, Coors Light and featured beer from the Cape May Brewery, plus a selection of red and white wine.

It’s our 4th Annual Oktoberfest Block Party and once again, The WhiteBriar is teaming up with Princeton Bar and Grill to rile up the block with authentic German cuisine, music, and ales. Event entrance is on 20th between Dune and Ocean Drive with a $10 entry fee to beer garden. There will be shopping stations, arts and crafts for the kids, and activities for all ages.
