A Premiere Jersey
Avalon and Stone Harbor are two beach communities that make up a small seven-mile island at the southern tip of New Jersey, about one mile off the East Coast. The island extends one mile further out than its closest neighboring town, which earned it the reputation of being ‘Cooler by a Mile.’ Known for its beautiful white sand beaches, tall dunes and clean, warm Atlantic Ocean water, it is the perfect place to unwind and enjoy a restful and relaxing vacation.
The Beachcomber Resort is located at 79th & Dune, sitting right in the middle of the island where the two communities meet. With everything so close by, the Beachcomber can offer the best of both worlds.

From the Owners
In 1984, a group of men, women and their families set out to re-establish The Beachcomber as one of the premier rental establishments in the Avalon/Stone Harbor area. Many of us wanted a place close to the beach where we could spend a couple of weeks each year and enjoy of the comforts of home, while also making it available for Spring, Summer, and Fall vacation rentals.
